Welcome to The TreeHouse, a non-profit parent co-op preschool in Clovis, CA, which offers Kindergarten Preparation and Early Learning classes with the unique opportunity for parents to take part in their child’s learning experience.
Founded in the heart of California's Central Valley in 2007, The TreeHouse is a non-profit co-op preschool, the success of which is a direct result of parent involvement. TreeHouse parents serve as classroom aides and board members, and participate in fundraisers and more to create an ideal learning environment for their children.
Our Preschool Classes are taught by experienced teachers with a parent aide for each class. We cover the preschool fundamentals such as ABCs, numbers, shapes, colors, etc. with art, science, and socialization mixed in. The prominent idea behind our developmental philosophy is that children at the preschool age learn best through stimulating activities and hands-on interaction, which aids in their social, emotional and cognitive development.
Early Learning classes are geared to a younger age group having their first experiences in a formal classroom environment. Kindergarten Preparation readies children to enter kindergarten the next year by familiarizing them with the alphabet and basic phonics, numbers, and beginning sight words.
Our mission is to build within our students confidence and a love of learning, giving them a solid foundation for a healthy and happy preschool experience, through fun and positive learning activities.
The TreeHouse is exempt from County licensing due to the fact that the parents are the board members and aides and our class sizes will not exceed 12 children. While teachers provide the foundation of the learning curriculum, parents are ultimately responsible for the children while in the preschool classroom.
